I visited some stores when I was choosing items for my baby shower gift registry. I decided to choose baby items from Babies R Us and Target. Both of these retail chains offers excellent products at reasonable prices. However, I really didn’t do any research about baby bottle warmers before I made a choice. I simply chose the least expensive product.
After a few days, I learned the hard way that not all baby bottle warmers are created equal. The product that I chose was really awful for a number of reasons. It was probably the only bottle warmer that heats the milk unevenly. I discovered that this model of baby bottle warmers only heated the very bottom of the bottle. The steam covered the bottom and never had a chance to really heat the top.
Since the milk did not heat up, I decided to just the bottle in hot water to heat it up. I decided to look into my options in baby bottle warmers. I discovered that all units were indeed not created equal after I did a little reading. As a result, I invested more than I wanted in baby bottle warmers but it was worth it in the end.
The new item is a bit more expensive but I got what I paid for. At least, I learned that I should do some research before buying anything, especially if the price is too good to be true.
