Time for Some Fresh Baby Shower Ideas E-mail
I don’t like to attend bridal showers, baby showers, and similar kinds of parties because everyone does the same things over and over again. I’ve gotten sick with introducing myself and telling everyone how I know the mother-to-be or bride-to be.

I don’t enjoy playing those silly games that are usually played at these parties. I think that these traditional baby shower ideas should be changed. However, I was unable to come up with many exciting baby shower ideas after doing plenty of research. Most of the baby shower ideas I found are simply weird and boring.

I enjoyed a few of the unique baby shower ideas that my friends tried when they threw me a baby shower. But, there were also a few games that I could have done without. The surprise shower was done at my house, which I was less than thrilled about. I told them that I was expecting a girl, so everything was pink.

My sister had found some baby shower ideas that she liked and ran with them. She did the normal toilet paper around my belly and the clothespins that each person got when they arrived. The guest would lose their clothespins if they said the word "baby". Actually, that ended up being an enjoyable game.

I also threw a baby shower for my best friend a month ago. I did my best to find some baby shower ideas that were unique and catered to her. It was difficult to pick a theme because she did not know what the baby's sex was. One of the baby shower ideas that I implemented was a 'time of day' theme. I wrote a specific time of the day on each invitation I sent out.

The guest was supposed to cater to that time. Everyone had their own time period that they were responsible for, whether it be the morning playtime attire or evening bath attire. I had found a suggestion for a time capsule in my search for baby shower ideas. I turned that idea into a memory box for the baby.

I also wrote instructions on bringing something that is relevant to the year that the baby was born on an index card that I enclosed for all of the guests. The guest should bring anything that would be representative of the birth year such as a coin with the year, a newspaper article, or current music.

It’s one of the shower ideas that requires creativity and does not cost anything. I also found some baby shower ideas that suggested having everyone bring a picture of the mom-to-be that they didn't mind not getting returned. I took all of those photos and made a collage of them at the shower.

Fortunately, my best friend loved it. Don't just stick to tradition and try to come up with some unique baby shower ideas if you’re also planning a baby shower.
